Michael Ellis
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Michael Ellis, One Inc's Chief Financial Officer, oversees the company’s financial, administrative, and payment operations functions. With over 30 years of experience in the financial sector, Michael is recognized for his innovative approach to solving financial, capital efficiency and scaling challenges faced by early stage as well as mature companies.
Before joining One Inc, Michael served as CFO at Flywire (NASDAQ:FLYW), a global payments solutions provider, as well as CFO at BillGO, a bill pay platform and network. He was also CFO at CashStar, a provider of digital gifting solutions, and CFO at Eze Castle Software, a provider of trade-order management software. He began his career in Public Accounting at Grant Thornton and then PricewaterhouseCoopers gaining significant experience in the IPO process as well as mergers and acquisitions.
Michael's journey in the financial sector took an important turn when he left public accounting and became the first finance professional as VP of Finance at a dot-com start-up. Since then, he has dedicated his career to the FinTech industry, holding four prominent FinTech CFO roles spanning over 20 years before joining One Inc.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Political Science from Ohio Wesleyan University.
