Johan Tjärnberg

Johan Tjärnberg was appointed CEO of Trustly in 2022 after serving as Chairman since 2020. In 2014, Tjärnberg founded Bambora, an international payments processor for in-store and online retailers. Following Ingenico’s acquisition of Bambora in July 2017, Tjärnberg served as Ingenico’s EVP of Small & Medium Business and then as EVP of Retail Business.

Prior to founding Bambora, Tjärnberg served as CFO and later CEO of Point, a leading European payment services provider.

Throughout his career, he held other positions including VeriFone’s Executive VP of the Europe branch, CEO of Point Transaction Systems and six years at PwC.
